This course is best suited for students who intend to pursue a career in professional IT consultancy, software engineering or further research in computer science. The BSc programme is designed to fully equip the students with all the expertise needed to fill a wide range of positions relating to computer science. BSc graduates from LTC will be capable of fulfilling expectation in an increasingly pervasive technology industry.
Admission Requirement:
Either passes in: two subjects at GCE ‘A’ Level + at least three further subjects at GCSE or GCE ‘O’ Level (at not less than grade C or a ‘pass’ if taken prior to 1975)
or three subjects at GCE ‘A’ Level + one further subject at GCSE or GCE ‘O’ Level (at not less than grade C)
or two subjects at GCE ‘A’ Level + two further subjects at ‘AS’ Level
or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard of the above
Progression Opportunities:
Programmes such as MSc or other masters degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or other postgraduate diploma or research courses can be applied for after the completion.
Flexibility:
Students can enrol in any of the three sessions allowing them flexibility to finish their academic year within one year of the commencement irrespective of the session start date.
